It applies to domestic and international flights departing from or arriving in Brazil and sets rules for airlines regarding cancellations, delays, and denied boarding.

For cancellations, long delays, or denied boarding, you can choose between:
  • A full refund of the unused ticket
  • Rebooking on another flight (by the same or a different airline)
  • Travel credit (if agreed upon)
If you’re denied boarding involuntarily, airlines must offer compensation, including:
  • Immediate financial compensation
  • Alternative transport
  • Assistance while waiting
